A fine title page in the classic architectural style of the Renaissance that was published in the Spain and Continents section of Blaeu's work. Two pillars capped by pediments supporting the multiple-quartered coat of arms of Spain flank the title. At sides are the allegorical female representations of the four continents. The Latin motto at top translates as "one world is not big enough." The Latin title and imprint are printed on a separate sheet and pasted onto the engraved architectural framework, as was customary with title pages.
