This atlas includes 6 detailed bird's-eye plans of Englewood, New Jersey, and two additional plans of surrounding townships. The plans show and name streets, property lines and the owners, the size of each property, location of dwellings or buildings, sewers, water mains, fire hydrants, and much more. Five of the plans are on a scale of 200 feet per inch, and three of the plans (which were loosely inserted in the atlas) are on a scale of 800 feet per inch. The back half of the atlas is filled with blank pages, presumably to paste in additional maps. Each double-page plan is backed in linen. Published by Watson & Co. Elephant folio. Hardbound in quarter maroon leather with tips over brown buckram covered boards.
