This 58 page handbook was issued in conjunction with the World's Fair in Chicago. It includes numerous in-text illustrations of the buildings at the fair along with two folding plates. The first is the Grand Panoramic View of Chicago (54 x 8") that overlooks the business portion of the city with Lake Michigan in the background. Taken from the Monadnock Block, the view gives perspective from every direction with the names of important buildings listed below. The second is a small map (11.5 x 12.0") showing the fairgrounds with a key to buildings at bottom. Published by George Melville in Chicago. Tall octavo, hardbound in red cloth with illustrated front cover. No dealer listings or auction records found in the last thirty years.

Contents are clean, bright, and near fine. Binding is becoming loose with the front hinge separated and the back hinge starting. Covers have light wear.
