An attractive map of the city of Kyoto and the surrounding countryside. Most of the map has been translated into English, with a key at bottom locating Buddhist temples, Shinto shrines, roads, railroads, post offices, and more. Topography in the surrounding regions are graphically depicted and filled with place names. Folds into stiff paper boards (3 x 5"). Published by G. Fukui. There are no auction records or dealer listings in the last 30 years, and only 2 institutional copies located on OCLC.
A clean and colorful example on heavy paper with a few tiny separations at the fold junctions. Issued folding with the rear cover lacking.
