This handsome map of the Persian Empire extends from the Caspian Sea to the Arabian Sea, and as far east as the Indus River. Decorated with a lovely cartouche and engraved by Jean Somer.

A nice impression with a minor printer's crease at bottom center, some light damp stains at top, and chips in the top corners of the sheet (outside of the image) that have been professionally replaced with old paper.
