This rare small map of Russia extends to include Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, most of Ukraine, and parts of Finland, Moldova, and Kazakhstan. It features some nice topographical detail and identifies many towns and cities, including Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kyiv, Odesa, Riga, and more. Portions of the Baltic, Black, Caspian, and Aral seas are shown. Daniel Djurberg (1744-1834) was a Swedish geographer and a prolific writer of geographic reference works and textbooks. Several of his maps were the first of their kind to be published in Sweden.
There are a few minor spots, a few pencil notations in the blank margins, and some paper weakness along the plate mark.
