This beautiful map of Scandinavia extends to the Baltic States and a portion of northeastern Russia including Moscow and St. Petersburg. This version is based upon Johann Baptist Homann's map produced approximately 50 years earlier. The map is decorated by a rococo-style title cartouche at upper left and a second cartouche with 5 distance scales located at lower right.

On a watermarked sheet with minor foxing and a short centerfold separation at bottom that has been closed on verso with hinge tape. There is minor staining in the margins with an edge chip to the top left corner of the sheet.
