This attractive and compact atlas contains 10 double-page and 30 single-page maps of the United States. Double-page maps include a nice California, New York, Texas, and western United States among others. Each map is accompanied by a page (or more) of explanatory text covering history, geography, natural resources, commerce, railroads, and more. A few additional maps are found within the text including the Yosemite Valley, Yellowstone National Park, and several railroad maps. Small quarto, hardbound in blue pictorial cloth.
