On this map the duchies of Bremen and Verden are detailed, shown with the neighboring Hamburg in the north, Lunenburg in the east, and Oldenburg in the southwest. Many small villages and places are named and there is good detail of the extensive system of rivers in the region. Two large ornate cartouches fill the lower corners, with cherubs, a hunter and his dogs, and the coat of arms of Bremen.
