A scarce map of the northwestern part of Spain covering the Kingdom of Galicia. The map is beautifully engraved to illustrate the mountains, forests and rivers and is filled with cities and villages. Decorated by a compass rose with fleur-de-lis and a strapwork title cartouche featuring Galicia's coat of arms and crown.

On a watermarked sheet with wide margins and professional repairs to two tears that extend 3.5" and 1.25" at bottom. There are a few faint spots of foxing and light printer's ink residue.
