This lovely bird's-eye view was issued in conjunction with the 1900 World's Fair in Paris. Centered roughly on the Eiffel Tower, the view extends to show the entire fairgrounds in the vicinity along the Seine River. Surrounding the map are 14 vignettes depicting some of the fair's buildings including the Grand Palace, Palace of Electricity, and the "Panorama of the World Tour." Drawn by Henri Bressler and issued for Le Bon Marche, a Parisian department store depicted in a vignette at left.
