Fine battle plan showing the defenses of Dendermonde and surrounding countryside during the War of the Spanish Succession. At the bottom is an inset plan titled Prospect of the City of Dendermonde, and an explanatory key is enclosed in an elaborate cartouche. Engraved by Isaac Basire.

A nice impression, issued folding with light toning along the edges of the sheet and short fold separations at top and bottom that have been closed on verso with archival materials. Very narrow top margin, as issued.
