This uncommon, Swedish map depicts the southern portion of Asia including India, Indochina, and portions of the East Indies. Extends to include part of Tibet, China, and Borneo. According to Tooley's Dictionary of Mapmakers, Akerman worked in Uppsala, Sweden and was a glovemaker in addition to being a cartographer.
