This is the rare French edition of Arrowsmith's map of Sri Lanka. It shows political divisions, roads, and cities of the day. The map includes a depiction of Adam's Peak that is not present on the English edition. Arrowsmith was a notable English cartographer in the late 18th century and established a reputation for recording the latest discoveries in all parts of the world.
