This striking map extends from eastern China south through Indochina and west to show Indonesia, the Philippines, the Caroline Islands, and the Marianas. There are a few place names along the coasts of China and Indochina, but most of the detail is concentrated on the islands of Indonesia. Mountains are especially prominent on Sumatra, Borneo, Java, and Sulawesi. Engraved by E. Dussy. This is the second state with the date and imprint removed, published by Fortin.

A dark impression on a watermarked sheet with a few faint spots and light soiling that is mostly concentrated in the blank margins.
