This large, handsome map covers the southern portion of Mexico and Central America from Chiapa through Honduras, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. The map presents a very attractive and detailed picture of the major watersheds and mountains in the region. Drawn by L. Hebert, engraved by Neele, and published by Cadell & Davies.
References: Phillips (Atlases) #724-45.
A nice impression on "J Whatman 1810" watermarked paper. There is light toning along the centerfold, faint offsetting, and some dampstains mostly confined to the upper blank margins. Short centerfold separations are confined to the top and bottom blank margins.
