This is a German edition of Moll's earlier map of the region (1729) that was published in Atlas Minor. While the title is in German, all of the place names are in English including "The Lady Mountains" (Notre Dame mountains). The map covers the vicinity of St. Lawrence Bay including the eastern portion of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland. There is particular emphasis on the fishing banks in the region including the Great Bank and several shoals. This was one of the four featured maps on the Homann Heirs well known Dominia Anglorum in America Septentrionali.
