"[Lot of 8 - Old Testament Engravings from the Book of Kings]",

Nice lot of copper engraved illustrations from the Old Testament depicting various scenes from the Book of Kings. Illustrations include the Judgment of Solomon, the Queen of Sheba visiting Solomon, Obadiah hiding and feeding the "hundred prophets," Elisha and the two bears, Jezebel's death, and others. There are two scenes (7 x 5.3") on each sheet, for a total of 16 engravings. They are from a Dutch biblical history by Ysbrand van Hamelsveld.
