Although the text below the map focuses on Japan, the map extends to include part of China, Korea, and the Philippines. Only Kyushu (Chickock), Shikoku (Sayekock), and the southern half of Honshu are shown. Indeed the text mentions that "Japan is generally esteemed to be an island, though this is called in question by some." On a sheet of English text measuring 8.6 x 14.0". Published in Awnsham Churchill's Collection of Voyages and Travels.
