This decorative county map of Rutland is divided into hundreds and shows interesting detail of towns, rivers, hills, forests, and roads. Plans of Oukham and Stanford appear in the upper corners, with keys identifying notable locations. There are three elaborate strapwork cartouches for the title, coats-of-arms, and distance scale, featuring peacocks, putti, unicorns, and more. English text on verso, published by John Sudbury and George Humble.

Condition: B+

On a watermarked sheet with some light toning and offsetting along the centerfold, a few tiny holes, and a centerfold separation at bottom that was closed on recto with archival materials. There was a repair made to the paper at bottom left before the map image was printed.
