Cook's discoveries in the Pacific formulate the final chapter in 18th Century exploration. These engravings provide a delightful view of the discoveries, people and customs of the Pacific region.
This finely engraved chart traces Cook's passage through the Great Barrier Reef. It extends from the northern extremity of Cape York peninsula and Endeavour Strait south to the Endeavour River and Cape Tribulation, south of present day Cooktown. Engraved by Benard.
