Handsome map of western Russia with Moscow (Moscowia) depicted at lower right and Novgorod (Nouogardia) at top left. Fully engraved to show forests, rivers, lakes and cities and adorned with decorative title and scale cartouches. This example appeared in the English edition of Mercator's Atlas Minor, which was published under the title Historia Mundi or Mercators Atlas by Michael Spark and Samuel Cartwright.
