This lovely map depicts Cheshire in North West England, with great detail of the hills, forests, estates, and towns. Numerous coats-of-arms line the top of the map. The distance cartouche at bottom left features livestock and a shepherd and shepherdess. Four English gentlemen decorate the title cartouche. Dutch text on verso.
References: Van der Krogt (Vol II) #5360:2.
A fine impression in original color with light toning and a short tear in the coats-of-arms at top that has been repaired on verso with archival materials. A light damp stain enters into the image at top, around the centerfold.
