This 231-page tourist guidebook to southern California contains the following three folding maps:
Territory Tributary to Los Angeles (14 x 15"). Covers the entire American southwest and northern Mexico. The map prominently depicts the rail lines leading to Los Angeles.
Automobilist's Guide for California (8.5 x 25.7"). Covers the region from Los Angeles to San Francisco with only one road identified for much of the distance. A denser network of roads is depicted around Los Angeles. The map is loosely laid into the guide book.
Map of Los Angeles-Pacific Company (9.7 x 11.2"). Shows the network of trolley buses from downtown to points along the coast including Santa Monica, Venice, and Redondo Beach.
The highly detailed guidebook contains a historical sketch, resort information, driving directions, and more. 12mo, bound in red, gilt-stamped flexible cloth.
The two folding maps still bound in the guide have small fold separations and associated small tears where they were bound. Text is mostly clean and tight with an occasional spot of foxing. There is light wear to the extremities with an abrasion on the front cover.
