Compiled by Julie Yeo of Antiques of the Orient, Singapore. This well-illustrated catalog of Asian maps presents the story of the mapping of the continent of Asia. While it is not a complete carto-bibliography, it is still a great reference source on maps of the continent, and virtually the only source to describe the history of Asian commerce, colonization, and exploration through maps from Ptolemy to the early 19th century. 88 pp., soft covers.
Contents tight. Covers are slightly sunned, and the spine has a bit of shelf wear and a couple of tiny stains.
