This striking geological map of the state is divided into counties and names some towns and rivers. Its color-coded key identifies granite, trap and altered slates, upper silurian, montalban, and other geologic units. Published in George N. Colby's atlas of the state.

On a lightly toned sheet with an edge tear at left that extends 1" into the image and has been closed on verso with archival tape.
