Detailed state map featuring only 35 established counties, current to 1855. All of Monroe County and most of Dade County have yet to be surveyed with "Indian Hunting Grounds" identified to the south of the Everglades. A single railroad line links Tallahassee with St. Marks. Includes good detail of roads, forts and villages, rivers and swamps. An inset, Plan of the Florida Keys, extends to show the Keys and Tortugas Islands. Surrounded by Colton's decorative border.
