This octavo geography contains twenty folding maps including Europe; Sweden, Norway & Denmark; Northern Part of Russia in Europe; Southern Part of Russia in Europe; Scotland; England and Wales; Ireland; France; Netherlands; Germany; Poland; Spain and Portugal; Italy; Turkey in Europe & Hungary; Asia; East Indies; Africa; North America; West Indies; and South America. The map of North America includes some interesting conjectural cartography in the west, including the River of the West, and a developing Alaska. The volume also includes a single page plate depicting an armillary sphere. Original brown leather with title label on spine. Title page is missing. 1072 pages.

Condition: B+

The maps are overall very good to near fine with some minor extraneous creasing. The one exception is the map of the East Indies which has a small chip along the left border with minor image loss (B). Text is clean but the title page is missing and the binding is somewhat loose. Covers are worn with some abrasions/loss and the spine is chipped at the head and tail.
