This book by Marcel van den Broecke provides information on the maps which were included in the first regular atlas that ever appeared, Ortelius's Theatrum Orbis Terrarum. It is the standard reference for Ortelius's maps. Includes black and white images of each of the maps discussed. 8vo, hardbound in blue cloth with gilt titles on front cover and spine and an illustrated dust jacket.
