This map shows the Gold Coast and part of the Ivory Coast along the Gulf of Guinea, stretching from approximately Abidjan, Ivory Coast to the Volta River in Ghana. A number of locations are identified along the coast as well as further inland, with several locations noted as being rich in gold. Decorated with two rococo cartouches, with an alternate Dutch title below the map. Engraved by Jan Van Schley.
