This small map is finely engraved to show political boundaries, rivers, mountains, and key cities. Moscow is at upper center. The map extends to the Volga River in the east and south to show Georgia and parts of the Black and Caspian seas. It is decorated with a rococo-style title cartouche. The map was engraved by E. Dussy and the cartouche by Arrivet. This is the first state.
References: Pedley #80.
A crisp impression with original color in the map and later color in the cartouche on paper with an "IV" watermark. There is one small worm hole in the border at right, and another along the bottom edge of the sheet.
