This is a handsome map covering Saxony and the surrounding region with great detail, centered approximately on Leipzig. The Elbe River flows northwest through the middle of the map, with Prague appearing just below the distance scale. It is embellished with a decorative title cartouche, legend in scroll-style cartouche, distance scales and a decorative border. Filled with place names each symbolized by a tiny castle. Latin text on verso.
References: Van den Broecke #93.
A dark impression on watermarked paper with minor toning along the centerfold. Remargined at left with loss of neatline. This margin is partially loose, but still functional for framing. The centerfold has been reinforced with tissue on verso.
