A fine map of the state showing counties, watershed and major towns and county seats with excellent detail throughout. County development is circa 1836 as Dade County is not depicted in the northwest corner of the state, along with Macon in the central portion of the state. Not to be confused with the more common maps from the Comprehensive Atlas, this sheet is several inches larger and carries much more information. Engraved by G.W. Boynton.
Original color with light surface soiling. There is an extraneous crease in the lower right blank margin and a few minor edge tears.
