Includes an index to artists, engravers, printers, publishers, etc. Volume II features 16 full color plates and 880 black and white illustrations. This is the definitive reference for historical prints of America and is scarcely offered on the market. First edition. Hardbound in beige cloth with gilt stamped title on spines and a pictorial dust jacket. Volume I 657 pp., Volume II has no pagination.
