This book features a beautifully engraved frontispiece portrait and several additional engravings to illustrate the volume. Published by Ticknor and Fields in Boston. 356 pages, 12mo, hardbound in blind-stamped green cloth with gilt title on spine.


Condition: B

Text is very good with occasional light scattered foxing and a few stains. Binding is somewhat shaken. The covers are stained with bumped edges, and the spine is sunned.
