This scarce map was issued in conjunction with the inauguration of President Benjamin Harrison. It shows the path of the parade from the U.S. Capitol to Washington Circle and identifies 58 points of interest in a key at lower left. The map also identifies Steam-Car, Horse-Car, and Heredic routes in the District. Published by the Evening Star and lithographed by the Bell Bros. Only a few copies have been offered for sale in the last 20 years.
Issued folding with several fold separations closed on verso with archival tape along with a few tiny chips at fold intersections resulting in very minor loss of image. Light toning with a few minor ink notations in the image and key.
