Well engraved miniature map of the Chesapeake Bay region locating the colony of Jamestown and the village of Pomejok. Several Indian tribes are named including the Powhatan. Virginia is bounded to the west and north by Canada ou Nouvelle France. Title is in a curtain draped cartouche at top. French text on verso.
