Reduced version of Hondius' folio map of Cyprus with insets of the Mediterranean islands; Lemnos (Stalimini), Chios, Lesbos (Mitilene), Euboia (Negroponte), Kythera (Cerigo) and Rhodes. The map is adorned with a large strapwork title cartouche. From the English edition of Mercator's Atlas Minor, which was published under the title Historia Mundi or Mercators Atlas by Michael Sparke and Samuel Cartwright. English text on verso.

A crisp impression with light toning along the edges of the sheet and one tiny chip in the right blank margin that has been repaired with archival tape.
