This handsome miniature map depicts portions of southern Lower Saxony and northern North Rhine-Westphalia. Geography is limited to rivers and cities, including Munster and Osnabruck. The copper plates are closely copied from those of Philip Galle's 1593 Italian edition. On a sheet of Italian text measuring 5.5 x 7.6".
