This uncommon promotional brochure details 105 battlefields in Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland with the Cheasapeake & Ohio Railway going through many of these important sites. To the right of the map image is a very detailed chronological listing of the principal battles along with Union and Confederate casualties. The verso contains a history of the Virginia Campaign and a listing of the command structures for both sides. This edition was produced for the 36th Annual Encampment of the G.A.R. (Great Army of the Republic) in Washington D.C.

Condition: B

An overall bright, colorful example with several minor fold separations that have been repaired on verso with archival tape. There are numerous red ink notations in the image circling primarily battlefields that are only mildly distracting given that the battlefields are also colored red.
