Charming little map of Portugal with north oriented to the right of the map. Neptune is shown riding a sea monster in the stipple engraved ocean and the map is further ornamented with strapwork title and distance scale cartouches. Latin text on verso, published between 1610-1621.

Condition: B+
Nice impression and color with a bit of soiling and toning at right and two tiny pinholes only visible when held to light. There are remnants of non-archival tape on verso that have since been removed yet caused very light stains on recto primarily in blank margins.
