Charming miniature map of Valencia and vicinity decorated with a strapwork title cartouche, ship and sea monster. The map was engraved by the brothers Ambrose and Ferdinand Arsenius who had been assistants to Frans Hogenburg and co-engravers of Ortelius' folio Theatrum. This series of maps was accompanied by text by Michel Coignet and was published by Jan van Keerbergen. Latin text on verso.

A clean, bright sheet with a couple of printer's creases in left blank margin and a professionally repaired chip at top right, just outside of image.
