This complete set of 21 maps covers 16 lighthouse districts along with an index map of the entire United States (three districts are mapped on multiple sheets). The maps show the various types of lights utilized including lighthouse depots, lighted buoys, light vessels and fog signals along with excellent detail along the coastlines. Many of the maps contain insets of coastal cities and harbors. Lithographed by Andrew B. Graham Co. in Washington D.C. and issued in the Annual Report of the U.S. Light-House Board. An interesting and informative set of maps at the turn of the 20th century.
The maps are clean and bright and issued folding. The only flaw is two light damp stains in the lower folds of the index map.
