A. Carte Generale des Treize Cantons Suisses et des Differents Etats de Leur Dependance: Ainsi que la Pluspart des Etats qui Leur sont Voisins et Aliez... (24.5 x 18.5"). Very handsome map of Switzerland, divided into its 13 cantons, with tables at left and right locating towns and places of interest. 13 heraldic shields of the cantons are depicted at top with another 22 coats of arms in the bottom corners. Condition: Issued folding with light toning, a few faint spots, and one short split along a fold. (B+)

B. Carte Ancienne de la Suisse avec des Remarques Abreges sur les Divers Evenemens et Revolutions qui y sont Arrivees... (17.8 x 13.9"). A most attractive sheet containing a map of ancient Switzerland, plus six scenes of historical events in Switzerland. The legend of William Tell is illustrated in the panel at lower-left with the unlucky apple-topped boy unwillingly roped to the tree. The map measures 7.6 x 7.1". Condition: A dark impression on watermarked paper with some light printer's ink residue confined to the text flanking the map. Issued folding. (A)
