This superb bird's-eye plan depicts Guangzhou (Canton) and the surrounding countryside with ships and junks in the harbor. Putti hold the title cartouche and key that flank the plan. The key appears in both Latin and Dutch. Among the sites identified are a mountaintop pagoda, palaces, and a pair of castles in the water.

Attractive color with a small hole on the centerfold at top that has been professionally repaired with an insignificant portion of the plan replaced in facsimile. There is marginal soiling.
