Lovely miniature map covers all of Poland plus extends into Russia in the north and to the Black Sea in the south. The map names Lithuania, Pomerania, Moldavia and more. It is delicately adorned with a strapwork title cartouche. The map was engraved by the brothers Ambrose and Ferdinand Arsenius who had been assistants to Frans Hogenburg and co-engravers of Ortelius' folio Theatrum. This series of maps was accompanied by text by Michel Coignet and was published by Jan B. Vrients. Latin text on verso.

Condition: A

A nice impression with attractive color. There is a damp stain at top right, confined to the blank margin, with a resulting chip that has been professionally repaired.
