This attractive map depicts the important wine-producing region of Burgundy in eastern France. It is centered on Dijon with several other fortified cities located including Gray and Auxonne. The map is flanked by tables of place names keyed to the map. An elaborate title cartouche features coats of arms, flora, and a river god observing two cherubs gathering grapes.
