Copper engraved county map with London illustrated at lower right with many buildings and chapels shown. The map shows some topography, forests, parks, towns and villages, and divided into the hundreds. Embellished with coat of arms at upper left, the map locates Otlandes, Kingston, Great Brentford, Uxbridge, Watford, and Waltham Abbey; and names the London, Edmonton, Goare, Istleworth Spelt Horne, and Elthorne Hundreds. The title cartouche features a female figure with the agricultural bounty of the region. French text on verso, published between 1645-48.

Condition: B+

A dark impression with superb color, wide margins, light printer's ink residue, minor toning, and a 1" clean cut just below the neatline at bottom that has been closed on verso with archival tape. There is paper tape along the edges of the sheet on verso, far from image.
