This first edition map is on a full folio sheet (22.0 x 17.6") with surrounding text describing boundaries, climate, chief towns, religion, commerce, government, and history. The finely engraved map delineates rivers, roads, towns and counties. Thirteen counties are named with the principle battle sites in the state identified by small red flags including Trenton, Princeton, Monmouth and Springfield.

Original color with just a few spots of foxing and short centerfold separations at top and bottom that have been closed on verso with archival material. There is a small hole in a blank area of the text at left.
