This very appealing set of miniature maps covers much of the United Kingdom and is divided by county and region. Locates and names many important towns and cities including London, Oxford, Cambridge and Edinburgh. Each of the maps is surrounded by an elegant and elaborate vignette related to the region. Includes an index map. King describes maps by Perrot as "the most decorative miniature maps of the nineteenth century." Engraved by Migneret. Size varies slightly. This lot includes:
